what is dry skin?
Dry skin people having less amount of water and natural oil in their skin. They are suffering from irritating /itchy skin due to dehydration, cracky, patchy similar as shown in the figure. Dry skin affects equally on both male and female.some times it might be due to the side effect of medicines, any particular disease, harsh chemical products.
Important factors for dry skin:
1) Winter: Generally, In winter season every one suffers from dry skin(Including Normal skin).
Our skin tends to lose its moisture and natural oil in skin due to the coldness.
Cold weather and low humidity not only leaves our dry skin but it removes the natural oil from the skin.
2) Disease:
More specifically, people suffering from the Eczema, Psoriasis, Ichthyosis, diabetes, kidney stones having severe dry skin issues.
3) Genes: some times its hereditary issue.one of your family member is having oily skin and that's why you are having the same due to genes.
4) Aging process: As you are aware our skin sheds daily. Due to aging, our body tends to produce less natural oil in our gland.
5) Daily routines: In our busy schedules we ignore our daily skin routine care .some times due to the harsh chemical products in your home can cause dry skin.
Skincare routine :
1)Moisturizer:
This is one of the most important parts of our skin care. Moisturizing our skin at day and night will boost our skin healthiness. It will balance your PH level it will regularly produce natural oil within your glands. It will nourish your skin and soothes from the dryness.
After the bath, pat your skin dry and then apply good quality of moisturizer to your whole body and at bedtime.

There are plenty of myths for washing your face.like people think that they are having dry skin so they should not use any face wash or after using face wash they feel their skin will be drier.
This is not true actually!! Tell me one thing if you don't clean your face what will happen? If you don't clean your face on a daily basis then all the dirt, pollution impurities will be stick to your skin, you will have big pore problems. Due to to the dirt you will also face the acne problem😨

- Do not use hot water for a bath or washing your face, it will widen your pores & create a problem, use lukewarm water.
- Don't take shower for more than 5 minutes. you can take a shower only 1 time a day
- Avoid chemical based harsh face washes.
Do's:
- Use face wash having with mild substance.
- Use faces wash twice a day one in the morning and secondly at the bedtime.
- Try to use a cleanser containing moisturizer only. It will restore the moisture and natural oil in your skin after washing too. you will feel your skin light and smooth. After washing your face feeling more dryness, tight, dehydrated try a different one.

4)Bodywash-
Choose body wash which should have mild ingredients and it must be soap free chemicals.

It's a very important factor in your personality.you should wear clothes which not just make you look better but it should make you comfortable. Avoid tight clothes, it will cause irritation and redness on your skin. Your skin cannot breathe in tight clothes.

Drink plenty of water as much you can. Minimum 10-12 glasses of water.

Involve these many things in your daily diet.
